Facilities: State Park, Public Golf Course, might be a ton more, was in the water
too much to notice :)
Remarks: A great big lake with a ton of cool camp sites and
things to do, and it's all free. :) There are wheeling/off-road trails, sandy beaches, and
of course plenty of water sports to keep the whole family busy. The water is fairly warm and
clean, plenty of fish from what I could tell. A great place for practicing your tricks and
stuff while you hang out with the family for a weekend or a week. Camping is
plentiful,
lots of people, but very well spaced out. Once covered with about a half an inch of Mt.
Saint Hellens ash, the place has a strange grayish tint and can be a bit dusty. I also
noticed a lot of different kinds of birds around, this might be due to the abundance of
bugs and flies that actually look like smoke from a distance. There's one great thing
about this place, it's just really relaxing. The Sunsets over the lake were some of the
most beautiful I've seen, overall this place is great.
